About us

De Driemaster is a public primary school and is open to all students. The school is located at Wold 15-73 on the border of the Archipel and Boswijk districts in Lelystad. The school has a beautiful playground and there is a lot of green around the school where you can play during the break and after school.

The school has about 250 students divided into 10 groups. We work with material year classes in which students are grouped by age, supplemented with a few combination classes.

Our school in highlights

- PBS: At the Driemaster we work with the method of Positive Behavior Support (PBS). Positive Behavior Support (PBS) is an effective, school-wide approach that focuses on reinforcing desired behavior and preventing problem behavior. The goal is to create a positive social environment that promotes learning and prevents behavioral problems.
- Social School: We communicate with parents through the Social Schools app. Socials Schools promotes communication and collaboration between school, home and other stakeholders. Via the app, parents get a look at the classroom.
- STEAM: The Three-Master is developing into a school where Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics play an important role in education.
- Physical education: twice a week all students receive physical education from a professional teacher. We also organize extra sports and games activities after school.
